Overview

This Nangma Valley Trek is a ten-day, guided holiday through one of Pakistan’s most dramatically beautiful landscapes. It’s also known as the Yosemite of Pakistan because of its immense rock walls and towers. Even though you’re in Karakoram environs, this is categorised as an easy walking holiday. Staying in a mix of tents, local guesthouses and hotels, natural highlights of the Nangma Valley include walks to Amin Brakk Base Camp (4,500m) and Mingulo Broq (3,500m), falling asleep under the dark skies of the Nangma Valley (3,950m) and cultural visits to Nangma villages.

Tour Plan

: Islamabad – Skardu – Khaplu Morning: Flight from Islamabad to Skardu. Afternoon: Drive to Khaplu (approx. 3 hours). Evening: Optional visit to Khaplu Fort, Bara Pond & Saling Valley. Overnight: Khaplu (Geyari Resort Khaplu recommended).

: Khaplu – Kanday – Minglu Broq (Trek Begins) Morning: 1-hour drive to Kanday Village. Late Morning: Start trek to Minglu Broq (~4 hours, gradual trail). Afternoon: Set up camp and explore the area. Evening: Relax in peaceful surroundings. Overnight: Camping at Minglu Broq.

Minglu Broq – Nangma Valley – Kanday – Khaplu Morning: Trek to Nangma Valley (~3–4 hours). Late Morning: Explore the scenic alpine valley and take photographs. Afternoon: Return trek to Kanday (~3 hours). Evening: Drive back to Khaplu. Overnight: Khaplu (Geyari Resort Khaplu)

Khaplu – Skardu – Islamabad Morning: Drive to Skardu (approx. 3 hours). Afternoon: Flight back to Islamabad. --- Optional Extension – Amin Braq Basecamp (Total 5–6 Days)

Naghma Valley – Amin Braq Basecamp Midday: Trek from Naghma Valley to Amin Braq Basecamp (~2 hours). Afternoon: Explore glacier views and mountain panoramas. Overnight: Camping at Basecamp.

Amin Braq – Kanday – Khaplu Morning: Trek back to Kanday Village. Afternoon: Drive to Khaplu. Overnight: Khaplu.
